3.25.2009: Victory! Congress Passes Omnibus Public Lands Management Act!

Thanks to the work of thousands of conservation advocates, Congress passed the landmark Omnibus Public Lands Management Act, which would secure wilderness designation for more than 2 million acres of public lands and thousands of miles of rushing rivers. It will also expand national parks and establish a 26 million acre conservation system.
This huge victory is the largest expansion of American wilderness in 15 years!
