WRITE IT! Slogan Contest

The WRITE IT! Slogan Contest is the first phase of our 2008 Write it! Wear it! Snap it! Boast it! campaign to get the word out about protecting public lands. Slogan submissions were due by midnight EST on August 1, 2008. We are now in the process of juding the slogans and will announce a winner the first week of September.

Contest Rules: See the official slogan contest rules here.

  1. Slogan Objectives: Your slogan should emphasize the importance of public lands, inspire others to visit or protect public lands and be short enough to fit on a t-shirt.

  2. How to Enter: Complete the entry form above. There is no limit on the number of entries you can enter.

  3. Winner Selection: Slogans will be judged on their creativitiy, motivational value and clarity of message.

  4. Contest Opening and Closing: Slogan entries will be accepted between July 1, 2008 and midnight August 1, 2008.

  5. Prize: The winning slogan could be featured on a T-shirt and headline OurPublicLands.org. The winner will receive 5 'Our Public Lands' T-shirts.

  6. Eligibility: You must be 18 years or older as of 6/30/2008 to enter. NWF employees, NWF affiliates and their respective families are ineligible.

  7. Originality: All submissions must be original slogans created by the contestent identified on the submission form. The slogan must not be copyrighted or trademarked.

  8. Duplicate Entries: In the event of duplicate entries, the slogan that was entered first will be judged.

  9. Awarding of the Prize: The slogan winner will be notified via email approximately 2 weeks after the contest has closed.
